Bye Bye Empties: Hair Care Edition

It seems as though I am starting to pick back up with using my hair products. During this time I sat at home I either wore my hair in a bun or I had twists/braids. Now that I am getting out of the house just a bit and back in the office, I have been looking forward to my curly moments.

With that, I have been using more of my hair products and here a few that I have reached the end with.

Living Proof: No Frizz Shampoo

Price: $29 – 8 oz/ $59 – 24 oz

Would I repurchase? Yes. I use this for my twist-out styles to cut down on the frizz. This is silicone and sulfate-free. I like the way that it lathers up and doesn’t have a strong fragrance.

SheaMoisture: Raw Shea Butter Deep Treatment Masque

Price: $10.79 – 12 oz

Would I repurchase? Hmmm. So let me tell you why I don’t know. This is not my first jar of this masque and I can definitely tell from my first jars to this last, they have changed the formula. The slip that this product once had is no longer there and my hair doesn’t feel as moisturizing. I don’t know if my hair just needed more TLC during the time I used this product or if I’m right in that the formula changed. I’m going to try out some other hair masque that I have and see what happens next.

That is all I have this time around. I will definitely be back in the near future with a couple of reviews on new curly hair products I have purchased.

Until next time, be good to yourself and others.
