Skincare Sessions Are In

Hey y’all. If you were with me during Week 8: Where Are You Hanging Out At?, you know I had made it a point to get back to writing out my to-do list AND checking things off. With the list I made, I checked everything off!!!

Today I want to share what I have been up to this past couple of months.

Skincare…the struggle is real for me. I buy skincare products allll the time and still, I can’t get past facewash, serum, and moisturizer. I have enough facial masks to host a slumber party. Heck, I can even make gift bags for the next morning.

In following the guidance of #stayhome I had nothing but time to start, finish, and plan a lot of things. One of them is to focus on my skin. I started with Origins. While I don’t have the answers to what my skin needs just yet, these are for sure winners.

Origins – Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash

Origins - Checks and Balances™ Frothy Face Wash 1.7 oz/ 50 mL Clean at Sephora Clean at Sephora

Price: $13 (1.7 oz.) / $24 (5 oz.)

When I purchased this product months back I lucked up and was able to get the limited edition of 8 ounces. I had no problem going all the way in because it’s a face wash that I have used many times before and it delivers good results. I use this nightly every single day.

This works for oily and dry skin. How is this possible?!?! It’s magic and I’m here for it. I have oily skin in my t-zone and it removes the oil while also keeping other places of my face that might be dry from further drying out. This face wash is paraben and sulfate-free. I like using this at night as a way to ‘reset’ my skin while I sleep.

Origins – Original Skin Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay

Origins - Original Skin™ Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay 2.5 oz/ 75 mL Clean at Sephora Clean at Sephora

Price: $13 (1 oz) / $26 (2.5 oz)

This mask is great for pulling out debris and dirt from your skin. This is good for all skin types with the goals to refine skin texture and minimizes pores. I have been on and off with this mask however, since being consistent I really do a change in my skin. The way it looks and feels after use is amazing. I can see the clarity peeking through with a slight glow as well. I’d also suggest applying this mask to your problem areas only. I only apply this to my cheek area.  If you have oily and acne-prone skin like me this is perfect for this. This is also paraben and sulfate-free.
