It has been CRAZY!!! It is not like me to go this long and not talk to y’all. So the day that I landed from California at 6 am in the morning, I had 128 boxes delivered to my new place by 9 am. Ever since then I have swamped with boxes. I am finally down to my last 12 and feel like I can have fun. Which means I can hang out with y’all!!!
So with being stuck in the house for good reasons, I’ve managed to empty out a few more products and wanted to let you all know what I thought about them.
Method Body Wash – Wind Down
Price: $6.99
Use: Stays in rotation in my shower
Benefits:
-
Target Clean Line
- Naturally derived body wash
- Free of parabens and phthalates
- Cruelty-Free – not tested on animals
Would I repurchase? Yes. It all started with the Method hand soap. I really liked the way my hands felt after every single wash. I went to Target and bought the Wind-Down and this one is amazing for nighttime showers. Wind-Down has chamomile, starflower, and blue lavender. My fave so far are Simply Nourish and Wind-Down. The last 2 I have to try are Deep Detox and Energy Boost. I’m 100% positive I will be trying out both of those. I’m all for detox and I need something to wake me up in the morning before I get to my coffee, tea, or smoothie.
Belif – Hydra Sebum Control Essence
Price: $42
Use: Vacations
Benefits:
-
Controls oil and shine
- Refine skin texture
- Minimize pores
- Does not leave the skin feeling tight
- Free of parabens, sulfates, and phthalates
- Cruelty-Free – not tested on animals
Would I repurchase? Yes. This is perfect during travel. My normal essence by the brand Fresh is truly liquid and I purchase the largest bottle that Sephora has available. Therefore, the last thing I want to do is carry this on vacation and risk it being broken or left behind. Oh and course every little bit adds on to my weight limit lol.
Garnier Skin Active – Micellar Eye Makeup Remover Pads
Price: $6.96
Use: Daily to remove eye makeup, especially mascara
Benefits:
- Formulated with aloe
-
Easily removes eye makeup
- Does not have a fragrance or mineral oil
- Does not leave a greasy residue
- Great for contact lens wearers
Would I repurchase? yes yes and yes. I had purchased my first from Target and then Target stopped selling them. This is the second good beauty product Target has removed from their shelves. So now I’ve found them at Wal-Mart and now I need a favor from my Mommy to do a run for me. I can’t cheat on Target.
Dreft- In-Wash Scent Booster – Baby Fresh Scent
Price: $9.99
Use: Daily to remove eye makeup, especially mascara
Benefits:
- Formulated with aloe
-
Easily removes eye makeup
- Does not have a fragrance or mineral oil
- Does not leave a greasy residue
- Great for contact lens wearers
Would I repurchase? Yes. I repurchased before I used the first bottle. These leave your laundry smelling fresh for weeks after you have folded and put away. I stumbled upon this while in Target of course. I was already on that aisle to pick up scent boosters anyway from another brand. I was scrolling through my Target app and came across these being on sale so I said why not give them a chance. Now I can add these as an option for in-wash scent boosters. Now between Dreft and Downy, I purchase who is on sale or least expensive at the time I go.
Bath & Body Works – Marshmallow Fireside Candle
Price: $24.50 – 3 wick candle
Use: Weekly
Benefits:
- Made with essential oils
- Fragrance fills the entire room
Would I repurchase? Yes. I have 3 on backup at this very moment. This is sooo nice for the winter months. I purchased additional candles so that I’d always have one ready when one ends. I always stock up during the sales and never pay full price. I’m going to test this out for the spring/summer nights and see if it will pass. I’m not ready to let it go just yet.
That is all for now but the project continues to using all beauty products I have before I purchase anything new.
What do you think?
