Blogmas 2019 Day 12: Trash Talkin'

So I’m going to make this short as I do not have many products and they are the same type. I have been on the search for the best mascara. I haven’t been afraid to purchase and try any and all that I come across that I think might be best for my lashes.

Clinique: Bottom Lash Mascara

Use: Every SINGLE wash day

Would I repurchase? Yes!!! I really like this mascara for my bottom eyelashes. The bristles on the wand are the perfect size to elongate my bottom lashes but to also not make them clumpy. This is best for me for my Monday-Friday office wear.

MAC Extended Play Lash

Price: $20 – Ulta

Use: Weekly

Benefits:

Safe for sensitive eyes.
Features a lightweight formula.
Lifting.
Defining.
Flake-proof and smudge-proof.
Long-wearing, 16 hours.

Would I repurchase? Yes. This is another favorite for my lower lashes. It gives a little more definition, therefore, I use this for my bottom lashes when my top lashes are also a bit more dramatic.

Marc Jacobs: Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara

Price: $26

Use: Weekly

Benefits:

What it is formulated WITHOUT:
– Parabens
– Sulfates
– Phthalates

Would I repurchase? No. While I did enjoy using this mascara and it delivered volume and definition by the end of the day this mascara started to flake on me. I know some of you may think by the end of the day why does it matter. For me, there are times I go straight from work to happy hour or to other events and flaky mascara is the last thing I want to worry about smearing across my face.
