These products have been great for cleansing, restoring, and nourishing my hair. I ordered these late last year so I’m just about coming up on a year of using them and feel like I’ve had the chance to try these products after twist-outs, braids, buns, and ponytails. All of these have been great for continuing healthy hair.
Briogeo – Be Gentle, Be Kind Avocado and Quinoa Co-Wash
This co-wash is great for when you are quickly going from one style to the next. It’s a non-lathering co-wash that removes impurities from hair without stripping your hair of its color or natural oils. I love taking this co-wash with me on my beach vacations to quickly cleanse my hair from the pool and beach water. This co-wash does so well with stripping with the hair of impurities and hydrating there is no need for me to apply a conditioner after. Briogeo co-wash also has great slip when applying the product and working it through sections of my hair. I enjoy applying this product and really taking my time to make sure it gets the job done.
MoroccanOil- Restorative Hair Mask
I have 2 of these. I tried it and immediately got online to order a backup. I’m not sure if it’s still true but last I checked this is only available online. This is one of those products that I stock up on during the Sephora VIB sale but also have no problem repurchasing if I need more before that time comes back around. This argan-oil infused hair mask is great for repairing dry hair and even hair that has been weakened. I love using this after protective styles to help bring back the curls and moisture to my hair, I know I’m not the best at keeping my hair mosturized after it has been styled so this helps a lot.
Amika- Soulfood Nourishing Mask
The last time I introduced this on my blog, it was just that, an introduction. I couldn’t speak much about it because I hadn’t tried it yet. Well, now I have had a chance to try, many times to try it haha. This mask is another one that is great for hydrating the hair. It leaves the hair soft and shiny. I like to also use this mask as a weekly conditioner if I find myself going back and forth between wearing a curly ponytail and a bun. This is another product that has an amazing slip as well. The instructions say to leave it on for 2-5 minutes however, I’m more of a 15-20 minute girl. The softness this mask leaves behind is amazing.
As some of us to start to move into the fall/winter I wanted to share an amazing co-wash and masks that can keep your hair healthy during the season.
What is your favorite co-wash or mask?
