Trash Talkin’

I’m bizzack!!! For my regulars, you know what it is so I won’t hold you with an intro. For my newbies, here is where I drop a few empties and give my personal opinion.

Let’s get to it…

Mario Badescu – Glycolic Acid Toner

Price: $18

Use: Every other day to a few times a week

Benefits: Brightens and balances skin after cleansing. If you have sensitive skin I would suggest not using this or starting with just once a day to see how your skin reacts.

Would I repurchase?  Yes. This bottle took me forever to go through. You don’t have to use much when applying with a cotton pad. Using my Shiseido facial cotton I think makes me use even less than a regular cotton ball. I started off using this toner twice a day not realizing how strong glycolic acid is and it definitely started to dry out my skin. I’ve now switched it over for travel mode as an extra boost in cleansing my skin. Sometimes your skin will try to act out when you are in a new environment and the elements/pollution in the air is not what it is accustomed to.

While I tell you all about this I’m also packing for a trip and realized I’m finally on my last 1 ounce of it annnnd I’m coming to the end of my Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Toner. How did this happen!!! I always have backups.

Nivea Creme – Unisex Moisturizing Cream

Price: $6.79

Use: Daily

Benefits: If you have dry skin or looking for extra moisture protection during the winter months, this is your answer.

Would I repurchase? Yes

I started off with Nivea body lotion, moved to the body wash, and then started carrying the mini container of the hand cream. Now I have tried the Nivea Creme unisex moisturizing cream. I came across this one day while I was back in the US and of course, hanging out in Target. When I picked it up I thought it was the same as the body lotion in the taller bottles but put into a jar. I just thought it would be good to travel with or use to refill my mini containers. I had no idea this had a different texture. This cream is THICK!!! I’m talking if you are in a rush after showering do not use and think you are going to lotion up real fast. Even with it being as thick as it is, the cream doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. For the amount of product that you get the price point is great.

Smarty Pants – Women’s Complete Multivitamin Gummies

Price: $15-$25 (be sure to shop around). The link I have is currently the lowest I have seen them

Use: Daily (6 gummies) It may seem like a lot but believe me these are so good you won’t care.

Benefits: SmartyPants Women’s Complete is a premium, multifunctional supplement that delivers omega-3s from fish oil, CoQ10, and essential nutrients including folate as methylfolate, vitamin B12 for energy*, vitamin D for immunity*, and vitamin K2 for bone health*-all-in-one. (Source: Target.com)

Would I repurchase? Yes.
