The Sister – Louise Jensen

Let’s see I have one word for this book: CRAZINESS!!!

When I tell you I was not ready for what was between these pages, I was not ready. With every page turn, I became more and more shocked. I just couldn’t believe it and neither will you if you decide to read this book.

Here is a bit of about the book:

“I did something terrible Grace. I hope you can forgive me …”

Grace hasn’t been the same since the death of her best friend Charlie. She is haunted by Charlie’s words, the last time she saw her, and in a bid for answers, opens an old memory box of Charlie’s. It soon becomes clear there was a lot she didn’t know about her best friend.

I won’t give you the rest of the description because this was just as much as I had read before I decided to read the book.

I thought I knew exactly how this book was going to read but I was alllll the way wrong. From the start of the book, I liked each and every character and they all had a special place given their circumstances. By the middle of the book, I was ready to tell each of them a piece of my mind lol.

If you are into suspense, this psychological thriller is for you. The author, Louise Jensen, style of writing makes it an easy read and can be read in a couple of days. This is Lousie debut novel and I have to say job well done. The ability to write such a twisted tale from the first-page turn is incredible. Lifetime ain’t got nothin’ on this!!!

This was my June reading and I am definitely a bit late in posting. These things happen when you read it while on a trip and you don’t return home until July. I try not to blog too much when I’m on vacation.

If you read this book, please let me know what you thought about it.
