Skincare Review: Mocha Whip

Have you ever heard of the brand Mocha Whip? Well, I hadn’t heard about it until a few months ago. I was online looking for natural homemade body butter and creams that I could use on my skin and I came across this company.

Mocha Whip

Mocha Whip is a company that sells raw shea butter and soaps. It takes raw butter and whips them into the yummiest aromas they call smlavors. Smlavors because they smell like flavors. They smell so good you’ll want to eat them…but don’t.

You are able to pick from 3 different sizes:

Whippies are approximately 2/5/7 oz net weight.

Butterballs, swirlies, and softies are approximately 3.5/6/8 oz net weight.

Mocha Whip advertises as a product used for both the body and hair. If you choose to use it for the body only then it will be less greasy. For both of my products, I chose a finish for the body only. I have not yet tried to use on my hair so I can’t speak to the performance of the product in that manner.

Almond Delight – Shea Body Butter Balls 

The shea body butter balls are perfect after my bedtime showers. They can be rubbed on dry or wet skin. Mocha Whip states that one butter ball should cover your entire body but I prefer to use 2. When you place the shea body butter balls directly on your skin they instantly melt on contact due to the added vegan wax. Be sure to store these in a cool place as they will melt in high heat.

I have started applying these before bed to my feet and then putting on socks so that the butter is able to penetrate and moisturize my feet during the night. After a few nights, my feet have started to feel even softer. If you suffer from dry cracked heels, these butter balls would be perfect, #justtryingtohelp.

These butter balls are loaded with vitamins A, E, F, and moisture-rich fatty acids. They work great to fight signs of aging, scars, and hyperpigmentation.

I think these would be great to throw into a travel-size container for weekend getaways and vacations.

Vanilla Chai – Shea Butter Swirlie

The swirlie delivers the same results as the shea body butter balls but is delivered in a smlavor. The added benefit to this is the raw dark cocoa butter. Dark cocoa butter specifically is loaded with rich antioxidants and caffeine beneficial for stimulating the skin, fighting signs of aging, and minimizing damage from free radicals.

I also like to use this after my bedtime showers as it is also loaded with vitamins A, E, F, and moisture-rich fatty acids.
