It’s All Gone…

I’m always trying a new product and if I find something it becomes a regular on repeat.  What I want to talk about now are empties and my thoughts on them. When trying new products  I check for samples or mini sizes available before investing fully into a product. Surprisingly, all of the empties below I would repurchase.

Blistex – Ultra-Rich Hydration SPF15

Price: Less than $5

Frequency of Use: Daily – it stays at my desk in my office as my go-to moisturizer to wear alone or prior to applying a lip color.

Benefits: Some of the ingredients are shea and cocoa butter and jojoba and olive oil. There is also beeswax and ceresin which help with curing the dryness of skin.

Glides on smooth and delivers instant moisture.

Repurchase: Yes

 

Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil

Price: $55 – $105 – pricey but worth it

Frequency of Use: Nightly – a little goes a long way.

Benefits: My skin in the morning is revitalized, moisturized and overall healthier appearance.

I pat versus rub into my skin so it can fully penetrate into my pores and I don’t pull on my skin.

Repurchase: Yes

 

Origins – Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash

Price: $12-$23 depending on size

Frequency of Use: Weekly/ 3-5 times in the morning and at night- I rotate between 2 types of cleansers

Benefits: Cancels oils while also moisturizing dry skin. It does just what it says, ‘checks and balances’

Obagi – Professional C-Serum 20%

Price: $115 – one time purchase / $98 membership

Frequency of Use: Daily – morning routine

Benefits: this vitamin C serum provides effective antioxidant protection from UV damage as it brightens away hyperpigmentation and encourages the growth of collagen and elastin fibers. Hyaluronic acid binds moisture to your skin to prevent dryness.

Ideal for these Skin Types: Oily, Dry, Combination, Normal, Sensitive, Acne-prone

Ingredients: Antioxidants, Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C

Repurchase: Yes

*This products works really well. I am on a search to find a less expensive product that delivers the same results.

Soap & Glory – Clean on Me Creamy Clarifying Shower Gel

Price: $10 – Ulta does BOGO so take advantage

Frequency of Use: Weekly ( I use other body washes)

Benefits: There is a built-in lotion that leaves the skin feeling soft. Very creamy and lathers well in the shower. After rinsing off, the scent lingers for awhile.

Repurchase: Yes

Frequency of Use: Weekly ( I use other body creams/lotions)

Benefits: Contains shea and cocoa nut balm, lime and almond oils annnnd kiwi juice water. Buttercream that delivers maximum moisture without feeling oily.

Living Proof –  No Frizz Shampoo & Conditioner

Price: Shampoo – $26 / Conditioner – $26  / Value size – $59 each

Frequency of Use: Monthly

Benefits: Blocks humidity and leaves hair smooth. I use these products more in the summer to help reduce the frizz with my curls.

Up & Up – Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover

Price: $3.99 – I purchase a pack of two

Frequency of Use: Daily

Benefits: Oil-free and gently removes eye makeup. Works great with the removal of waterproof makeup.

Urban Decay – Long Lasting Makeup Setting Spray

Price: $15-$32

Frequency of Use: Every makeup application

Benefits: Light setting spray that gives a fresh makeup application for hours. Great for oily skin.
