The other day I took note of things in my life I have bought so many times that I have lost count. It’s those products that the moment you notice you are getting low on, you run to the store before you have a meltdown. Or if you are like me you have 2-5 on standby. Here are a few of my regulars and repeats.
Arm & Hammer Toothpaste
You know how they say wine is an acquired taste? Well, I think the same goes for this toothpaste. When I first started using it I had to get used to the strong presence of the baking soda. Now that I’m about 50 tubes in I don’t even notice. I like the freshness that I feel afterward.
Clarisonic Mia 2
There are a few skin cleansing systems but I’ve been sticking with this one. I do not buy a new Mia 2 everytime but this made the list because I am always purchasing the replacement facial brush heads. They offer a variety of brushes for every skin type and what you are trying to achieve to improve your skin.
The Clarisonic can be seen as pricey but I believe it is worth the investment. I purchased mine with a carrying case although I get nervous traveling with it because I do not want to leave it.
If you keep your eye on it a lot of places will put it on sale and include facial cleansers and/or travel case to go with it.
I never thought I would buy brand name cotton balls. Really who does that? I do now lol. They are worth every penny that adds up to the dollars. I like these because they hold product without losing shape or shedding.
These are perfect for removing makeup and very soft on the skin. I know you want to say isn’t all cotton the same, uhhh nope not like this.
A pack of 165 cost $10 BUT some brands a pack of 70 cost $4.00 soooo why not?!?! You can even get lucky and I’ve seen them as low as $8.00. If you are skeptical buy the pack of 40 for $5. You will wish you bought the larger pack.
Up&Up – Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover
It removes makeup, even waterproof mascara. It is gentle around the eyes which is good for one of the most sensitive places on your face. Compared to some of the higher end eye makeup removers, this one can definitely stand next to them.
Sunday Riley – Luna Sleeping Night Oil
Warning!!! This is a pricey item. It is probably the most expensive skincare items I own. I can say right behind that it is truly worth it and I can see the difference. In the morning my skin appears healthier, moisturized, radiant and revitalized. This is one of those products that you have to use consistently to see a difference. I am a member at Sephora so I try to stock up when they are having a sale. I recommend starting with the smaller bottle if you aren’t someone who is consistent with a nighttime skincare routine. It wasn’t until recently that I invested in the larger size….because of the VIB sale : )
A good pairing with this is Sunday Riley – Good Genes
I discovered this hand cream right before a vacation and my carry on did not have a hand lotion. I haven’t left the house or another vacation without it. I like this cream because it does leave a greasy feeling and a small amount goes a long way. It is thick but absorbs into the skin very nicely. I keep one in my purse, at my desk at work (larger size) and in my makeup case. I always purchase the shea butter.
